29 Weeks (and 2 Days)!

Nothing new to report, really. Just counting down the days until Ava is here!

We did make her a Build-A-Bear tonight. His name is George (from the Roald Dahl book we are currently reading). If you press his heart, it thumps!

Here's what Ava is up to this week:

Your baby measures about 10.4 inches (26.4cm) from crown to rump, or a total length of about 16.7 inches (42.4cm) from head to toe, and weighs about 2.7 pounds (1.2kg). At this stage a fetus's eyes are almost always blue and can distinguish bright sunlight or artificial light through the uterine wall. Baby is performing fewer acrobatics as conditions in the womb become more cramped, but still doing a lot of kicking and stretching.
