Slater Park & Treasure Box

Yesterday morning we went to Slater Park. It's a local park that has a playground, very small animal farm, and some walking paths with a lake. Everything is free, which is great since we don't spend more than about 90 minutes anywhere. It also has a carousel, but the girls were so tired that we didn't even make it down by the lake and carousel. Next time.

The farm has a paved area lot with a ton of ride-on toys, plastic playhouses, and slides. Of course, this was their favorite part.

The twins loved this gazebo. They love to climb steps these days (lucky us).

While the twins napped in the afternoon, Ava and I made a Treasure Box to hold all of the little trinkets she collects. We covered a shoebox with paper that we drew on, stamped, and put stickers on. Then I covered the entire thing in clear packing tape. So far the box holds a ring, a necklace, and some rocks. My girl loves her rocks.

Today we went to the Mystic Aquarium (pictures to follow). Tomorrow, we are staying HOME! :)
