Yikes. It's been almost a year since I last posted. Obviously three under three, plus working full time, keep me a little busy. But, I want to document some of the cuteness that is going on in our house these days. The days fly by, and the girls are growing way too fast. I just don't want to forget it all. :)
- Ava has about a million adorable phrases these days. She calls elevators "alligators." So, we rode the "alligator" at the mall yesterday. She also has this way of stringing sentences together, and doesn't use prepositions yet. Her longest sentence to date is "Aunt Heather blow pink bubbles magic wand outside 'morrow Ava."
- Ava has been referring to herself in the third person, as either "Aywa," "Jessie," "Punzel [Rapunzel]," or "Princess."
-CeCe has started to say "all done" when she wants out of her high chair or crib -- sounds like "ahh duh." She loves to shake her head "no" and say "nah nah nah." She is my super-sensitive mommy's girl right now. If the girls so much as look at her the wrong way, she bursts into tears. She is super cuddly.
- Charlie is starting to take STEPS! She is such a confident stander, completely unassisted. Today she just turned away from me and took about five steps when I wasn't paying attention. She is going to take off, SOON. Charlie is so happy-go-lucky, too. If you so much as smile at her, she gives the cheesiest, squinty-eyed grin back.
- The twins "notice" each other now and really interact! Dave often puts them in the same crib in the morning while we finish getting ready for work. They giggle and tickle each other -- it is absolutely precious. They love their big sister, too. She loves to hold them, and they crack up.
- Ava has started to learn more and more song lyrics. She sings most of "You've Got a Friend in Me" and most of the princess songs as well. She sings and talks ALL.DAY.LONG. She also knows all of her colors and shapes and probably about 9 or 10 letters!
