Busy, busy!

First, some new things. Ava has been standing all by herself lately! She pulls herself up on everything now, and she started letting go and standing unassisted for a few seconds! She also babbles like crazy lately, and says "da da" ALLLLL day long (to Dave's delight, of course).

Ava had her first "friend party" last weekend. Our neighbors have a sweet little girl who just turned one. They had the party at a family member's house, complete with a pool (Ava's first time!) and a small dairy farm down the road.

We also took Ava to the beach for the first time! She loved the sand (especially trying to eat it) but wasn't too crazy about the water. It was super cold, though, so I don't blame her. She really enjoyed people-watching!
