Winter!

Ava is loving the winter! She will even keep her hat on (and *occasionally* her mittens). She loves snow and doesn't even seem to mind the cold too much.

These days Ava is like a little sponge, soaking up everything she sees and hears. She LOVES to brush her teeth and will do it all day long if you let her. She's also really into rearranging furniture and will push anything that isn't too heavy around the room. Her new thing is to bring things to us that she wants us to do -- like open a container with toys in it, spin a top, or read a book to her. It is really adorable. She can take as many as 10 to 12 steps at a time, but she mostly just refuses to walk. She's started walking on her knees so that she can have her hands free to transport all kinds of things. It's kind of funny since we know she CAN walk (and she's pretty good at it, too!) -- she's just too stubborn!

And at the Winter Festival we went to today (it was COLD outside!). She got to ride a carousel for the first time!
