What a little independent streak Miss Ava has! She has decided that she needs to do everything herself these days -- stand up, sit down, climb over things, feed herself, dress herself, change her diaper (as you can see from the pics below where she insists on grabbing the sign). She is a bundle of energy and fun that is always going, going, going. She recently discovered the stairs and is obsessed with trying to climb them. Our house is in full baby-proof mode now.
Ava is in major copying mode lately. She is absorbing so much and loves to try to figure things out. If we push a button, she immediately tries to push it herself. She is obsessed with figuring out how things work. She can say hi, da da, milk (meh), and (rarely) ma ma. She can also clap and wave now! Ava pulls herself to standing constantly and can stand on her own for a few seconds. She loves to bounce up and down -- it looks like she's dancing. She does it whenever she is excited about something or sees something she wants.
Ava is eating most of what we eat now. Her favorite is still grilled cheese, though she still loves fruits and veggies. She's up to six teeth now!
