21 Weeks (and 1 Day)!

This little girl is starting to somersault like crazy! All day long I feel thumps and rolls -- I love it! Pretty much any time I am sitting still I can feel something going on. :) And, Dave has been able to feel several of the kicks! She's definitely kicking harder now!

We are painting the nursery this weekend! I can't wait to see what it looks like. The top part of the walls will be light pink and the bottom will be light sage, separated by a chair rail. I'll be sure to post before and after pics!

Here's what our little girl is up to this week...

Your baby now weighs about three-quarters of a pound and is approximately 10 1/2 inches long — the length of a carrot. You may soon feel like she's practicing martial arts as her initial fluttering movements turn into full-fledged kicks and nudges. You may also discover a pattern to her activity as you get to know her better. In other developments, your baby's eyebrows and lids are present now, and if you're having a girl, her vagina has begun to form as well.
